Family Photo Day
After Church today, I was tasked with taking the family photo for the Christmas letter this year since we hadn't all been able to take it earlier. They're going out tomorrow with the yearly Christmas letter in the mail so everyone should get theirs by Christmas.
Luckily I brought my tripod, remote shutter release device ("the spoon") and a 10 foot cord so that I was able to be in the photo. Framing and taking photos while being a subject at the same time is difficult!

Our Two Year Anniversary
Today is our two-year anniversary.

An Afternoon at the Track
My wife and I went to the horse track this weekend. What great fun! I'm not a serious gambler and give myself a budget so I don't sign over my car or something. $20 is it for me. It gives us enough for about 2 to 3 $2 bets for each of the 11 races during the day (if we actually win a few). Win some / loose some, but it's always fun.
This time I only lost about $12 (not including lunch in the dining room and drinks later on). Overall it's a pretty cheap afternoon for all the excitement that goes on there.
We went down to the paddock and I got a few shots with my 200mm lens. Enjoy!

Well, now that my little disclaimer is done with, let me share a secret with you... I bought her a bunch of stuff from Victoria's Secret for Christmas.
As I do with ALL my online purchases, if the checkout procedure has a place for a 'coupon code' or 'offer code' I do a quick Google search for codes.
I hit the jackpot of all Victoria's Secret codes!
My order total was $123 and I entered in a few offer codes that got me free shipping (on orders over $100) and $15 off an order over $100.
In the end, the order cost me $114 and change, shipped. What a great deal!
