Maybe the Painful Gastric Convulsions Will Help Me Loose Weight

I'm taking Alli for the first time today.

We'll see how it goes with my system.

The primary side effects of the drug are gastrointestinal-related, and include steatorrhea—that is, oily, loose stools; because orlistat blocks some of the dietary fat from being absorbed, the fat is excreted unchanged in the feces—, fecal incontinence, frequent or urgent bowel movements, and flatulence. GlaxoSmithKline recommends that Alli users be cautious of the possible side effects until they "have a sense of any treatment effects".

  1. How’s the “loosing”?

  2. Greasy shit? No thanks. 4 miles a day, and you will shit every day. No need for drugs. I guess in upstate NY you’d have to invest in a hamster wheel, err, treadmill. Did your Nike+ thing break like mine, or has it really been 2 months?

  3. Not broken, the battery in the sensor died. I’m not about to spend another $30 right now though. Trying to save every penny.

  4. I’m now glad you live in NC and I’m in FL.

  5. My iPod just stopped recognizing the sensor. I don’t think it’s the battery, but it works sometimes, then it will just end the workout part way, and won’t recognize the connector again, for another week or so. I’m going to experiment with some of the iPhone apps that do route tracking and stuff. I pretty much run the same course every time though, so I don’t really need it, mapmyrun.com works pretty good.
