Here's a video of my new Midas Blenny and my 4 Firefish (only three were out last night) in my quarantine tank.

Nice Quarantine Tank! What is that 40G?
I thought with a quarantine tank you didn’t want any sand or rock because if you have to do a copper treatment (for Ick) it was nearly impossible to get those poisons out of the substrate?
Nice fish. Love how he has made a tunnel and was spitting sand out.

It’s actually a 45. It was my main tank while I was setting up my big one downstairs.
The substrate there was what was in it from before. I chose to go with Fiji Pink sand for my new tank so all that crappy, crappy crushed coral stays upstairs.
He’s built quite a home for himself. He wouldn’t even come out for the first 4-5 days. He just kept burrowing and spitting sand out the entrances to his “house”.
I haven’t done any treatments in the q-tank simply because I’m new to the hobby and it looks like these guys are ick-free.
I’m probably going to trash that substrate and try to sell the tank and stand since I’ve got a 30 gallon from work that I’ve had set up and i brought it home. My employer let me set up a 100 gallon bow-front tank next to my work area, so no more 30 gallon at work!
Glad you like the little guys… we were worried that the blenny was being so shy, but i talked to the owner of my LFS and he said it was completely normal behavior.
